Homeopathy can be safely taken without interactions with allopathic drugs. Unlike conventional medications which when combined can cause side effects such as serious life threatening effects, homeopathy is safe to use in conjunction with other medications. Some allopathic drug will camouflage symptoms to give a false picture of cure, if advised by us such allopathic drugs need to be discontinued.However, we never ask the patient to discontinue any medicine all of a sudden. We never ask the patient to stop medicines he or she is taking for blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, thyroid disorders unless and until we clinically experience the curative action of homoeopathic treatment. After it has been seen that the patient is positively responding we taper down the doses and then finally stop the medications. In such cases we monitor the patient closely for upcoming year or two.
