Some allopathic drug will camouflage symptoms to give a false picture of cure, if advised by us such allopathic drugs need to be discontinued.However, we never ask the patient to discontinue any medicine all of a sudden. We never ask the patient to stop medicines he or she is taking for blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, thyroid disorders unless and until we clinically experience the curative action of homoeopathic treatment. After it has been seen that the patient is positively responding we taper down the doses and then finally stop the medications.
