I have compiled a list of diseases that can be successfully treated, cured with the help of homoeopathy. May be some of the diseases skipped my mind while making this list of diseases. The view expressed in these subsequent article lists are my personal views which were formulated after experience in treating the diseases listed here. In order to formulate first hand impression during my internship I have read almost all the homoeopathic literature. This reading lead me to analyze the old literature and review it in the light of current medical practice. Hence the view of different homoeopath may differ from the ones expressed here. At times it has been proven over a period of time that some cases may fail to yield cure. However, the same cases treated by another homoeopath can be cured completely. Hence if some one has taken treatment from a homoeopath and if it has not yielded cure that does not mean that it is not possible to cure a particular disease. Homoeopathy per se have not failed but the physician’s approach to treat the case has failed. The physician some where may have skipped some important milestone that lead to a failure. Hence it is recommended that it should never be considered that homoeopathy failed in a certain condition, there still has a chance to get cured with another approach to the case.

| Alopecia – Hair Fall | Alopecia aerata completely heals with new growth of hairs. Even generalized hair fall can also be treated which leads to general growth of hair and arrest of fall. | Androgenic / hereditary alopecia (hair loss) cannot be cured. | NA |
| Anaemia | Anaemia can be treated and cured with homoeopathic haematinics. The cause of anaemia can be cured with homoeopathic medicines. | If the patient fails to respond to homoeopathic haematinics within expected time range (e.g. in case of excessive menstrual flow (menorrhagia) secondary to anaemia the haemoglobin has to normalized before the next menstrual cycle) then other allopathic haematinics may have to be taken. | Patient will have to follow strict nutrition instructions to include high iron and high folic acid diet. |
| Anxiety Neurosis | With homoeopathy patient can easily get cured of anxiety neurosis. | NA | Meditation, yoga along with homoeopathy will be an additional advantage. |
| Arthritis | In case of rheumatoid arthritis, gout the condition can be cured. Pain in joints can be relieved in case of ageing related osteo-arthritis or in pain originating from osteoporosis. Thus relieving pain can offer quality of life. | Osteo-arthritis in advanced stage can not be cured but pain can be relieved. | Calcium rich diet along with homoeopathy is an additional advantage. |
| Asthma
(Allergy at respiratory level) |
1. Asthma can be treated and cured with homoeopathy.
2. Acute attacks can be controlled immediately if the patient is already on homoeopathy before the acute attack comes. 3. Even if the patient is exposed to the trigger factors which earlier used to precipitate status asthamaticus the triggers no longer act as triggers once the patient is cured. |
Irreversible pathological changes at the lung levels can not be reversed in few patient suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD). | 1. Lifestyle modifications in terms of Meditation, yoga along with homoeopathy will yield additional advantages.
2. It has been observed that in some patients asthma, allergic rhinitis are linked with eczema in those patients the patient will need to take homoeopathic treatment for that condition for complete cure. |

2. Backache with a history of fall and blunt injury (except fractures requiring surgery) can also be treated and cured. 3. Backache due to prolapsed inter-vertebral disc can also be treated and cured with homoeopathic management. |

| Bed wetting | Typically some children even though they grow beyond a certain age by which the bladder control has to be establish continue to wet their beds while fast a sleep. Homoeopathy can make them bladder conscious and the control can be regained. | Bed wetting due to paralysed bladder due to brain related problems that typically develop due to uncontrolled blood pressure etc may need a neuro-physicians opinion and treatment. | NA |

| Constipation | Ideally high fiber diet relieves constipation, homoeopathy can play a role in cure if despite of high fiber diet constipation persists. Often constipation can be a sign of diseased state. We can diagnose the disease and can treat constipation despite of absence of classical signs and symptoms of such a disease. | NA | NA |
| Corns | Instead of surgical removal of corns, homoeopathic treatment is a good option, with homoeopathy the pain is instantly relieved and after a period of treatment the corns heal completely. | NA | NA |
